Student Equity Meeting

Student equity leaders from across District 15 gathered at MS 51 to learn about microaggressions and how to prevent them in their schools. During the meeting, they discussed the impact of microaggressions on students and explored ways to create more inclusive and respectful environments. By working together, these student leaders are taking important steps to ensure that every student feels valued and supported in their school community. Students were also visited by Dr. Bethea, NYCPS’ Director of MBK & MSK programming. A big thank you to our student equity facilitators from MS 51 and Brooklyn High School of the Arts for leading us through this work!
