Dear District 15 Community,
On behalf of the District 15 Leadership Team, welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I
hope you had the opportunity to enjoy a restful summer and spend time with family and
friends. As we begin this new year, we do so with excitement, optimism, and a shared
commitment to the students, families, educators, and communities we are honored to
serve. This year, our collective focus will be on strengthening Tier 1 core instruction in
every classroom, every day, building upon the exceptional teaching and leadership
already taking place across our district. Through meaningful professional learning,
collaboration, and shared expertise, we will continue to support schools in providing
high-quality instruction that prepares every student to think critically, solve problems,
communicate effectively, and experience the joy of learning.
We will also continue to expand Project-Based Learning opportunities that bring our
curriculum to life through authentic, engaging learning experiences that foster student
voice, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. Guided by our district values of
Collaboration, Inspiration, and Empowerment, we will strengthen our practice
by learning from one another through intervisitations and collaborative professional
learning. Thank you to our dedicated educators, staff, and families for your unwavering
partnership and commitment to our students. Together, we will continue building on
the extraordinary work already happening throughout District 15 and ensure this is a
year of learning, innovation, and success for every child. Welcome back to another
incredible year in District 15!
